Where to eat roasted chestnuts this October

October is my favourite month to get out of the city. The grape harvest is ending, the chestnuts are arriving, and villages all over the country throw parties for both. This piece has the ones worth the trip, from a wine festival in Cadaval to a food festival in Santarém.
